12-hr water cut in Colombo & suburbs
An estimated 12-hour water cut is being experienced in several areas in Colombo.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has said the water cut is due to electricity failure at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.
The water cut is affecting Colombo, Kotte, Kaduwela, and Dehiwala – Mt Lavinia MC areas, the UC areas of Maharagama, Boralasgamuwa and Kollonnawa as well as the PS areas of Kotikawatta & Mulleriyawa.
