Bus fares revised
The National Transport Commission has announced new bus fares effective from midnight today (June 30).
The commission said that bus fares will be increased by 22 percent.
Accordingly, the minimum fare will be increased from Rs. 32 to Rs. 40.
The Director of the Commission Dr. Nilan Miranda stated that the relevant price revision will also apply to private buses and SLTB buses.
