The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has announced that Value Added Tax (VAT) for July 2026 must be paid on or before August 20, 2026.The Department warned that penalties will be imposed for non-payment or late payment of VAT.It further stated that payments made by cheque, bank draft or payment order will also be considered late if they are received after the due date.Meanwhile, VAT returns for July must be submitted online on or before August 31, 2026.

The IRD has also requested taxpayers to pay withholding tax on or before August 15, 2026.
