The price of a 450-gram loaf of bread will increase by Rs. 10 from midnight today (August 31), the All Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association said.The decision comes after the price of a kilogram of wheat flour was increased by Rs. 17 yesterday (August 30).

The association also said prices of other bakery products will be increased accordingly, while taking steps to ensure that consumers are not unfairly affected by the price revisions.
