A suspect arrested with four illegal trap guns in the Vannamkulama area was fined Rs. 80,000 by the Kahatagasdigiliya Magistrate’s Court on October 9.The suspect was taken into custody on October 3 by Moragoda Wildlife Officers during an operation in Vannamkulama. Following his arrest, wildlife officials produced the suspect before the Kahatagasdigiliya Magistrate’s Court on October 9.The Magistrate ordered the suspect to pay a fine of Rs. 20,000 for each charge, totaling Rs. 80,000 for the four illegal trap guns found in his possession.
