TO VACATE MALWANA PREMISES IUSF AGREES

IUSF students agree to vacate Malwana residence

 

 

The Inter-University Students’ Federation (IUSF) states that the Prime Minister has agreed to transfer the land and house in the Malwana area, currently under the purview of the Divisional Secretariat of Dompe, to the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Speaking to the media after a discussion held today (May 18) at the Prime Minister’s Office with the Prime Minister, IUSF Convener Sasindu Perera said the decision was reached during the meeting.

He further stated that, as the transfer of the property to the UGC is to be carried out as soon as possible, the group has decided to vacate the premises with immediate effect.
