The Sri Lankan rupee has appreciated further against a basket of Gulf currencies today in comparison to yesterday (15), the Central Bank of Sri Lanka reported.

The Rupee has also appreciated against the UAE’s Dirham of which the selling rate has reduced from Rs. 85.30 to Rs. 85.13.

The Rupee has also appreciated against other foreign currencies, including the US Dollar of which the selling rate is Rs. 318.79.
