The Public Health Inspectors’ Association says that 2,388 dansals have so far been registered islandwide for the Vesak festival.

Its Secretary, Chamil Muthukuda, stated that the registration of dansals will continue until 29 May.

However, he urged those intending to organise a dansal to complete the registration process as soon as possible.
