A prisoner sentenced to death has been admitted to the Nuwara Eliya District General Hospital after allegedly consuming poison, reports indicate.It is reported that the individual consumed the poison inside the toilet of his prison cell.

The Nuwara Eliya High Court today (29) sentenced him to death after finding him guilty of murder charges.It is also reported that four individuals, including the suspect, were sentenced to death in connection with the case.
