Police have arrested all suspects involved in the violent robbery of a PickMe driver, an incident that sparked widespread outrage after footage of the crime went viral across social media platforms earlier today.

The incident, which took place within the Welikada police jurisdiction, involved three individuals who accosted the young driver, violently threatening him and physically grabbing him by the neck inside a vehicle.

It was reported that the victim managed to stay calm and systematically negotiate with the attackers to protect his life. Despite his cooperation, the suspects forcibly took his ATM card, using it to withdraw and rob him of 38,000 rupees before fleeing the scene.Following intense public outcry and widespread sharing of the dashcam and camera footage online, the police launched an immediate investigation.The Welikada and Borella police tracked down and arrested the primary suspect and his accomplices within hours.

According to initial police interrogations, the suspects are chronic drug addicts who have a history of committing similar offenses to fund their addiction.
