The International Cricket Council (ICC) has suspended the membership of Cricket Canada.

However, foreign media reports state that Canada will still be permitted to participate in tournaments organized by the ICC.It is also reported that funding for the operation of the national teams will continue to be provided through a controlled funding mechanism.

The decision follows the launch of an investigation by the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Unit into Cricket Canada.
