The National Transport Commission (NTC) has announced that the revised bus fares approved under the annual bus fare revision come into effect from today (July 06).Earlier, the NTC said the fare revision would be implemented under 03 categories.

Accordingly, fares for short-distance services covering less than 100 km have been increased by 12%, while fares for long-distance services exceeding 100 km have been increased by 20%.Meanwhile, fares for short-distance air-conditioned bus services have also been increased by 12%, while long-distance air-conditioned bus fares have risen by 15%.
