The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that the water supply to Wellawatte and Pamankada areas will be temporarily suspended for seven hours due to essential improvement works under the Greater Colombo Water and Wastewater Management Improvement Investment Program/

Accordingly, the water supply interruption will be in effect from 10.00 p.m. today (August 6) until 5.00 a.m. tomorrow (August 7).The NWSDB has apologized for the inconvenience caused to consumers and advised residents in the affected areas to use available water sparingly.Consumers seeking further information can contact the NWSDB hotline on 1939.
