Minister of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment Upali Pannilage has stated that a Sign Language Bill will be presented to Parliament in the future.The Minister made the remarks ahead of Sri Lanka’s participation in the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities session in Geneva today (14) and tomorrow (15).He also stated that Cabinet approval has been granted to amend existing legislation on the rights of persons with disabilities.
