– The Presidential Secretariat warned the public about a misleading news item circulating on social media under the title “Rapid Complaint Handling Procedure for Irregularities Involving Grama Niladhari,” stating that it is false and deceptive.The President’s Media Division said in a statement that the Secretariat said the message contains fraudulent hotline and direct telephone numbers and falsely claims to have been issued by the Presidential Secretariat.
The public is urged not to share unverified information.
