Diana gets bail after appearing before courts
Former State Minister Diana Gamage, who faced an arrest warrant for failing to appear before court, appeared before courts before being released on a surety bail of Rs. 10 million. olombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama observed that the bail order was made as the accused surrendered before the court following the issuing of a warrant for her immediate arrest and production over her absence.
On August 21, the court issued a warrant on Diana Gamage for failing to appear before court.
She faces alleged violations of the Immigration and Emigration Act.
