Rupee slips further against US dollar

– The Sri Lankan rupee has depreciated further against the US dollar today (03), compared to Tuesday, with both buying and selling rates showing an increase.
According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the US dollar rose from Rs. 326.75 to Rs. 328.00, while the selling rate increased from Rs. 336.60 to Rs. 337.97.Meanwhile, the rupee has shown relative strength against a basket of other major currencies, including the Australian dollar, the euro, and the British pound sterling.
