Sugeeshwara Bandara, former private secretary to ex-President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, has been admitted to the prison hospital after a wound on his leg reportedly worsened.Bandara, who is currently in remand custody, was transferred to the prison hospital yesterday (21) after his condition required medical attention, according to reports.He was arrested in connection with an investigation into allegations that he had received salaries from two state institutions simultaneously.

Authorities are continuing investigations into the allegations while Bandara remains in remand custody.
