No CCTV data available at Aravinda’s residence where Kapila died
The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) today (14) informed the Fort Magistrate’s Court that no CCTV data had been stored in the security camera system at the residence belonging to former cricketer Aravinda de Silva, where former Sri Lankan Airlines Chief Executive Officer Kapila Chandrasena was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Presenting facts before court, investigating officers stated that although the security camera system at the residence had been operational, investigations had revealed that no data recording had taken place.Evidence in the magisterial inquiry into the suspicious death of former Sri Lankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena was recorded for the second consecutive day today (14) at the Fort Magistrate’s Court.
The CCD also submitted a further report to Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasekara regarding the ongoing investigations.
