SJB MP Chaminda Wijesiri granted bail
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – Chaminda Wijesiri,who received a jail sentence last month, has been granted bail by the Badulla High Court after considering his appeal.
On July 28, the Badulla High Court sentenced SJB MP Chaminda Wijesiri to one-and-a-half years’ imprisonment over charges including wrongful restraint, assault, causing injuries, and issuing death threats to Police officers.
