Two Sri Lankan Opposition MPs arrive in Vatican to attend Pope’s funeral
Colombo, April 25 (Daily Mirror)- Two Sri Lankan Opposition Members of Parliament, Dr. Kavinda Jayawardene and Hector Appuhamy have also travelled to the Vatican to attend the funeral of late Pope Francis.
The duo who left on Thursday reached the Vatican City early this morning, Sri Lanka time.MP Jayawardene said he and MP Appuhamy will pay their last respects to the dead pontiff later during the day and will attend the funeral service tomorrow.
