PUCSL approves electricity tariff revision
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has granted its approval to increase electricity tariffs by 75%.
Speaking at a media briefing in Colombo, PUCSL chairman – Janaka Ratnayake has said the the tariff revision is effective from tomorrow (10).
Meanwhile, the PUCSL also says that they have instructed the Ceylon Electricity Board not to pay any bonus to employees until their financial situation is improved.
