The All Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association says the prices of flour-based short eats, including egg roti and paratha, will be increased by Rs. 5.The price increase is scheduled to take effect from midnight today (Oct. 21).

The decision was taken following an increase in the price of wheat flour. Association President Harshana Rukshan said the price increase had also affected stocks of wheat flour already imported into the country, creating difficulties for restaurant owners.

In view of the situation, restaurant owners have been compelled to revise the prices of these products.
