The national carrier, Sri Lankan Airlines has been taken over by hackers, MP Dayasiri Jayasekera told Parliament today.

He said the hackers have already notified that they have taken control of the Sri Lankan Airlines software system.

“Even the emails of Sri Lankan Airlines employees have been hacked,” he said. MP Jayasekera urged the government to accept the offer made by the US government to get the system released from the hackers.
