Grama Niladharis Union threatens TU action if pressured by govt. politicians
The Sri Lanka United Grama Niladhari Association states that if Grama Niladharis are obstructed from acting independently during the process of providing relief to those affected by the disaster, they will be compelled to resort to trade union action.
Its President, Nandana Ranasingha, stated that various political pressures have been brought to bear on Grama Niladharis during the independent implementation of the relief process.
