Three-Wheel fares in Western Province reduced: Rates announced
The All Ceylon Three-Wheel Drivers’ Association announces that starting tomorrow (15), three-wheeler fares in the Western Province will be reduced.
According to the association’s chairman, Lalith Dharmawickrama, the fare for the second kilometer will be reduced from Rs. 100 to Rs. 90. He made this comments during a press conference held in Colombo today (14).
“The maximum fare that can be charged from a passenger for the first kilometer in the Western Province is Rs. 100. The fare for the second kilometer is Rs. 90. Additionally, from 10 PM to 5 AM, a 15% surcharge will be added to these rates.” He further said.
The Chairman of the association further urged public to complain to relevant authorities such as the Police, Consumer Affairs Authority or the Western Province Road Passenger Transport Authority, if there are any discrepancies in three-wheel fa
