Wasantha Mudalige files complaint at HRC
Convenor of the Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF) Wasantha Mudalige filed a complaint at the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka against a minister and top security officials for violating activists rights.
Accordingly, he filed a case against the Public Security Minister Tiran Alas, Defense Secretary Kamal Gunaratne and the Inspector General of Police C.D Wickramaratne for fabricating evidence to detain activists under the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
