Sri Lanka Railways (SLR) has announced that train services on the Nanu Oya–Badulla section of the Upcountry Line will resume from June 20.The railway track between Nanu Oya and Ambewela was severely damaged by a landslide triggered by Cyclone Ditwah last year, resulting in the suspension of services along the affected section.According to the SLR, reconstruction work on the damaged stretch has now been completed.A successful trial run was conducted yesterday (June 17) through the restored section, confirming its readiness for normal operations.
