The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 19-hour water cut affecting several areas in Gampaha District due to urgent maintenance work at the Karasnagala Water Treatment Plant in Attanagalla.Accordingly, water supply will be suspended from 8.00 a.m. on Tuesday (16) until 3.00 a.m. on Wednesday (17).

The affected areas include Minuwangoda, Gampaha, Mahara, Attanagalla and Nittambuwa, along with surrounding localities such as Asgiriya, Udugampola, Opatha, Weliweriya, Belummahara and Rathupaswala, as well as areas under the Gampaha Municipal Council and Pradeshiya Sabha.
