– An Assistant Manager and a security officer have been arrested in connection with the robbery of Rs. 35 million from a state bank in Horana recently.They were arrested after recording statements regarding the incident this morning.

A sum of Rs. 35 million prepared for replenishing ATM machines was robbed from the Horana branch of the People’s Bank by an unidentified individual on Wednessday morning.The incident occurred when a bank employee was carrying two bags containing cash out of the bank’s rear exit for transportation.
