The United National Party (UNP) has called for a parliamentary review of the treatment of former State Intelligence Service Director Suresh Sallay.In a statement, the UNP has said that Salley, who is receiving treatment at Colombo National Hospital, must be treated in line with constitutional and international standards.
The party called for a parliamentary team to inspect his condition and said all actions must comply with the Sri Lankan Constitution and the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA), while investigations are ongoing.
