Chairman of the PHI Union Upul Rohana urged the public to follow health and safety protocols during the Vesak period.

He revealed that observations were made over an increased number of ‘Dansal’ being organized for next week, for which the PHI do not have protocols in place to monitor stalls.Upul Rohana assured that PHI will advise anyone seeking help to implement necessary hygienic protocols at stalls.

The PHI Union Chairman spoke of an increase in Cholera cases being admitted to hospitals, and added that people who catch the disease will have to face many issues due to a shortage of medicines.Upul Rohana urged the public to take care of their personal health.
