It has been revealed that action had not yet been taken to recover outstanding house rent amounting to Rs. 1,793,480 owed by 21 former ministers and parliamentarians.It has also been revealed that these outstanding rental payments have been due since the period between 2015 and 2020. In addition, action had not been taken to recover rent owed for eight houseSet featured images at Summit flats in Kappetipola Mawatha, Colombo 05, which had been provided to the Presidential Secretariat between 2009 and 2016 for use by officers of the Presidential Security Division.The outstanding rent due for 22 houses at Summit flats for the period from 2012 to 2024 amounted to Rs. 1,673,190.The outstanding rent due for 15 houses at Jayawadanagama for the period from 2012 to 2016 amounted to Rs. 8,449,265.
