What is the party that was sold to a crow?
“Sadly, the party my father sacrificed his life for, has been sold to a crow today,” said opposition leader – Sajith Premadasa.
He had said this while addressing a Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) meeting of the Kesbewa electorate.
He also alleged that the intention of the current government is to maintain power while deceiving the people.
He had said :
“I am sorry to say that the political party my father sacrificed his life for, has been sold to a crow today. Both parties are gambling to destroy the country. This is a country suffering from malnutrition, but they say it’s a country of prosperity. Just two years after taking power, the country is facing a fate worse than Somalia or even Ethiopia. Be prepared to take to the streets to chase away this pack of rogue foxes who are running the country to the ground.”
