SLTB to tackle ticket fraud with card payments?
The Ministry of Transport and Highways revealed that daily ticket fraud is costing the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) approximately Rs. 10 million in lost revenue.
To address this issue, the Ministry is considering implementing a system that allows passengers to pay for SLTB tickets using credit and debit cards.According to the Ministry, discussions on exploring this solution have already begun.
