‘Aadaraya’ programme launched to support children affected by cyclone Ditwah The “Aadaraya” programme, aimed at providing essential school items including books to children affected by cyclone Ditwah, was launched in Hambantota.
More than a thousand children from four schools in the district received supplies at the inaugural event.Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa said similar distributions will take place in other districts.He added that Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna seat organizers and affiliated institutions are participating in the initiative and called on the public to support the effort to improve education for children impacted by the disaster.
