WATER CUT FOR 28 HOURS FROM 8 PM on the 13th Saturday
The supply of water to several areas of Colombo and suburbs will be suspended for 28 hours starting at 8.00 pm today (13), says the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB).
The water cut will be in effect until midnight tomorrow.
According to the NWSDB, the affected areas will be Colombo, 04, 05, 06, 07 and 08, Kotte and Kaduwela municipal council areas and the Maharagama and Boralesgamuwa urban council areas.
The water cut is imposed in order to repair a leakage in the main transmission line from Ambatale to the Kotte water tank.
