The Sri Lanka Navy has recovered remains suspected to be those of the Navy officer who went missing after the Navy Dvora patrol boat he was aboard met with an accident off the coast of Angulana.The Navy spokesperson stated that the body was found inside the vessel involved in the accident.The accident occurred on Aug. 15, and the body was found during search operations.

The Navy spokesperson added that subsequent procedures would be carried out to confirm whether the recovered body was that of the missing Navy officer.
