Manori Sallay files complaint alleging surveillance of her family

Mrs Manori Salley, the wife of Mr Suresh Salley, has lodged a complaint with the National Authority for the Protection of Victims of Crime and Witnesses. In her complaint, she alleges that a particular individual, believed to be connected to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and dressed in civilian clothing, has repeatedly monitored and followed her and her two children while engaging in suspicious surveillance activities.According to the complaint, when her 17-year-old daughter and 22-year-old son visited the National Hospital yesterday to inquire about their father’s condition, the individual allegedly followed them and used his mobile phone to photograph or record the children.
Mrs Salley further states that she had previously observed the same individual loitering near the National Hospital and in the vicinity of the Criminal Investigation Department premises.
In light of these circumstances, Mrs Salley has requested the investigation
