An undergraduate of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Ruhuna has died after contracting Dengue fever.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Deniyaya, Matara. Officials have renewed warnings of rising dengue cases and the government also released a list of high-risk areas for Dengue.In addition, a special, 03 day dengue prevention program kicked off today (June 24) in 06 provinces with high-risk areas.
