– Fishermen and naval communities have been urged to remain vigilant as strong winds and rough sea conditions are expected over the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea during the next three days.According to the Department of Meteorology, wind speeds of 40–50 kmph, gusting up to 60 kmph, will make these sea areas rough at times.

In some periods, wind speeds are expected to increase further to 50–60 kmph, gusting up to 70 kmph, resulting in very rough sea conditions.As such, authorities have advised fishing and naval communities to exercise caution and take necessary safety measures during this period.
