ICC VP Khawaja in SL over cricket reforms committee probe

ICC Vice-President Imran Khawaja has arrived in Sri Lanka to look into the Cricket Reform Committee appointed by Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage.
He met the Sports Minister on Friday and inquired about the objectives of the committee. Another ICC representative is also scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka today (16), and together they are expected to hold discussions on Monday with Cricket Reform Committee Chairman Iran Wickramaratne and the other members of the committee.However, reports indicate that the ICC representatives are likely to grant approval for the committee, while limiting its term to three months, and will also advise that a general meeting of members be convened thereafter.The Cricket Reform Committee is also expected to introduce amendments to the Chitrasiri Committee Report as soon as possible and proceed with revising the cricket constitution accordingly.
