Colombo, May 7 (Daily Mirror) – The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has so far recorded statements from 21 individuals over the USD 2.5 million cyber theft at the Finance Ministry, Public Security Minister Ananada Wijepala said today.

He told Parliament that the CID has launched a comprehensive investigation into the transferring of USD 2.5 million of the Treasury to a third party.

The Minister said the government will bring to book anyone if found to be responsible for the incident.
