– Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser, Attorney-at-Law Namal Rajapaksa, is scheduled to attend Parliament tomorrow (8), following arrangements made in response to his request for the necessary facilities to participate in parliamentary sittings.Rajapaksa today (7) wrote to Parliament Secretary General, Attorney-at-Law Kushani Rohanadeera, requesting the necessary facilities to attend Parliament during the upcoming sittings.

In response, the Secretary General has written to the Commissioner General of Prisons requesting that arrangements be made for Rajapaksa to attend Parliament. Accordingly, Rajapaksa is scheduled to attend Parliament tomorrow.

Parliament is scheduled to meet from tomorrow (8) until September 11.
