Nivin Kumarapperuma, son of well known President’s Counsel Upul Kumarapperuma, suddenly passed away yesterday (June 12).

He had succumbed at the Kalubowila Hospital while being treated to a sudden illness.He was 25 years old at the time of his death.

An alumni of Royal College, Nivin had recently returned to Sri Lanka after higher studies in Canada.His remains currently lie at No. 11, Pelawatta Road, Nugegoda.Following religious observances, Cortege will leave residence tomorrow (June 14) at 3.00pm for final rites at the Beddagana General Cemetery at 5.00pm.We express our deepest condolences to Mr. Upul Kumarapperuma and his family during this time of unfathomable grief.
