The Health Entomology Officers’ Association has stated that fogging alone is not an effective long-term method to control dengue.The Association noted that fogging only targets adult mosquitoes, while larval and pupal stages remain unaffected, and warned that repeated use of insecticides may also lead to resistance and environmental harm.
