– A fire has broken out in a building located opposite the Dam Street Police Station in Colombo, prompting a large-scale firefighting response.

According to the Colombo Fire Brigade, at least ten fire trucks have been dispatched to the location to bring the blaze under control.

Authorities said no injuries or casualties have been reported so far. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and investigations are expected to be carried out once the situation is fully brought under control.
