QR code-based platform to submit feedback on police services

Sri Lanka Police has introduced a QR code-based digital platform enabling the public to submit feedback, complaints, compliments, and suggestions regarding services provided by police stations island-wide.
The new system, titled the “Sri Lanka Police Community Feedback Portal”, allows citizens to access an online platform and share their views on police services through a simplified digital process.According to the Police Media Division, users can select options such as complaints, compliments, comments, or suggestions, provide personal details where required, indicate the purpose of their visit to a police station, and submit relevant information related to their feedback.Police stated that the initiative aims to improve the efficiency of police services through a people-centred approach supported by data-driven analysis.Members of the public can also access the portal via the E-Services section of the official Sri Lanka Police website. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has instructed senior officers and OICs to install QR code boards for the feedback portal at all police stations, including reception areas and prosecution units, while also encouraging the public to make use of the facility.
